Mi línea de trabajo apunta a estudiar como los cambios en la composición y el estado físico de la membrana bacteriana puede condicionar la adaptación a un nicho ecológico particular.Para esto es necesario el conocimiento en técnicas bioquímicas, tales como enzimología, uso de isotopos radioactivos, uso de sondas fluorescentes que se intercalan en la membrana y dan idea de la fluidez, técnicas para determinar la temperatura de transición de fase,técnicas cromatográficas como GC HPLC, TLC. Conocimientos sobre la biosíntesis de lípidos en bacterias y las enzimas implicadas, así también como las respuestas al estrés en lo que se refiere a membranas. Sobre todo se trabaja con bacterias rizosféricas que deben adaptarse a condiciones muy exigentes en su habitat natural. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
