Mi área de estudio es la paleoictiología y en particular el estudio de la evolución de los diferentes grupos de peces actinopterigios, con énfasis en algunos grupos de teleósteos cenozoicos, que componen actualmente la ictiofauna dulceacuícola y marina de nuestro territorio.
