Metalurgia extractiva. Síntesis de materiales. Modelado cinético de las reacciones sólido-fluido reactivo. Extracción y recuperación de metales, principalmente de litio, desde minerales y desechos electrónicos por las vías piro, hidro y biohidrometalúrgicas. Síntesis de materiales utilizados en la industrialización del litio y otros metales, como por ejemplo: niobio, tantalio, aluminio, silicio, cobre, manganeso e hierro.
