Mi desarrollo profesional es en petrología y geología estructural de basamentos ígneo-metamórficos enfocados en reconocer y caracterizar los procesos físico-químicos que contribuyen a la edificación de la corteza continental y su evolución durante sucesivos eventos orogénicos. Para ello combinamos trabajos de campo que incluyen relevamiento y mapeo geológico, muestreo de rocas y mediciones de elementos estructurales, con estudios de gabinete y laboratorio como análisis petrográficos de rocas, química mineral, geoquímica de roca total, geoquímica isotópica y geocronología.
