El ErbB2 está sobreexpresado en ~20% de los cánceres de mama y se asocia con mal pronóstico. Los pacientes se tratan con el anticuerpo monoclonal anti ErbB-2, trastuzumab, pero sólo el 26-50% de ellos responden. Hemos demostrado que el TNF transactiva al ErbB2 y genera resistencia in vitro al trastuzumab en células de cáncer de mama ErbB-2-positivas.Estudiamos la participación del TNF en la resistencia in vivo al trastuzumab en cáncer de mama y el mecanismo por el cual se produce.Las técnicas para abordar dicho tema incluyen cultivo celular, transfecciones, medición de la proliferación por distintos métodos, western blot, inmunohistoquímica, inmunofluorescencia, inmunoprecipitación de la cromatina (ChIp), citometría de flujo, PCR y qPCR. También incluye manejo de experimentos in vivo: manejo de animales, particularmente ratones, vías de administración, cirugías, etc. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
