Durante mi doctorado me enfoqué en el estudio de la transmisión de genes de resistencia a antibióticos y otros compuestos xenobióticos presentes en plásmidos y otros elementos móviles en bacterias de distintos ambientes. Durante mi postdoctorado, trabajé en distintos aspectos bioquímicos, genéticos y fisiológicos de patógenos humanos del género Mycobacterium. En la actualidad, me desempeño como Investigadora Asistente en el Instituto de Biotecnología y Biología Molecular (UNLP), en donde desarrollo una nueva línea destinada a la búsqueda y caracterización de compuestos antimicrobianos con actividad contra M. tuberculosis, M.
