La línea general de investigación son las interfaces e interfases en materiales compuestos. Me desempeño en el área de materiales poliméricos, compuestos reforzados con fibras, introducción de refuerzos inorgánicos y compatibilización de los mismos en las matrices de base epoxi. Desarrollo materiales con propiedades funcionales como superficies hidrofóbicas, antifouling, autolimpiantes, en forma de materiales estructurales y de recubrimientos, empleando diversas técnicas de aplicación. Estudio ... La línea general de investigación son las interfaces e interfases en materiales compuestos. Me desempeño en el área de materiales poliméricos, compuestos reforzados con fibras, introducción de refuerzos inorgánicos y compatibilización de los mismos en las matrices de base epoxi. Desarrollo materiales con propiedades funcionales como superficies hidrofóbicas, antifouling, autolimpiantes, en forma de materiales estructurales y de recubrimientos, empleando diversas técnicas de aplicación. Estudio el desempeño en condiciones simuladas de servicio, empleando equipos desarrollados a tales fines en nuestros laboratorios, de interfaces como recubrimientos o laminados. Esto incluye el estudio tribológico de las superficies e interfaces, empelando métodos de desarrollo propio para evaluar la resistencia frente al desgaste erosivo de flujos y abrasión por fricción.
