Estudié Lic. en Saneamiento Ambiental. Trabajo como docente en las cátedras de Entomología Sanitaria y Control de Plagas y Vectores, donde he aprendido a distinguir especies de insectos de importancia sanitaria para poder realizar manejo integrado de plagas sobre ellos. En mi trabajo de tesis para obtener el título de licenciada aprendí a dominar técnicas electroquímicas (Voltametría de onda cuadrada, voltametría cíclica), de fluorescencia y espectroscópicas para poder detectar plaguicidas en agua a través de inhibición enzimática. Toda mi experiencia me permitió conocer en profundidad la problemática de plaguicidas y los problemas sanitarios que provoca la presencia de vectores. Actualmente como estudiando de doctorado trabajo en Ecología Química investigando que olores ataren a triatominos para desarrollar trampas de olor para monitoreo. He aprendido a utilizar la técnica de electrofisiología cerebral. También he aprendido a diseñar trampas cebadas para atraer y capturar triatominos de importancia sanitaria. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
