Desde que egresé como Licenciada en Biología he adquirido diferentes herramientas y conocimiento relacionado con los Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) y las imágenes satelitales. Particularmente, trabajé con imágenes Landsat, a través de la plataforma de Google Earth Engine, estudiando el impacto de la actividad humana en ambientes de vegas en los Andes Centrales de San Juan. También trabajé en un proyecto de desarrollo sustentable en el Delta del Paraná como encargada de armar el SIG de la región. Además, desde 2019 estoy estudiando, mediante imágenes satelitales, la dinámica interanual de la productividad de las vegas presentes en las zonas áridas de las Américas. A la vez que intentó determinar cuál es el vínculo de los factores climáticos locales, como la temperatura y la precipitación, y globales, como el fenómeno de El Niño, en la dinámica de la productividad de los ambientes de vegas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
