Mi interés científico se centra en el funcionamiento de las redes tróficas planctónicas marinas del ambiente antártico. Mis líneas de trabajo son el estudio del efecto del cambio climático en las comunidades microbianas planctónicas (estudios experimentales), el estudio del efecto del cambio climático sobre las comunidades zooplanctónicas (estudios experimentales y estudios de monitoreo a largo plazo), y la contaminación por microplásticos en la Antártida y su efecto en las comunidades planctónicas (estudios de monitoreo a largo plazo, presencia de microplásticos en columna de agua, sedimento y zooplancton; estudios experimentales de plastivoría de zooplancton). *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
