Inicialmente mis tareas de investigación se desarrollaron en el campo de la historia social y cultural. Luego de obtener mi título de Ph D en Historia (director Herbert Klein) Columbia University (USA) otras líneas de trabajo se incorporaron a mis intereses académicos. A partir del PD. Ph en Historia Cultural Latinoamericana que realicé en el Institute of Latin American Studies (ILAS), University of London (UK) las relativas al estudio de las narrativas de viaje decimonónicos, en un giro hacia los paradigmas de la nueva historia cultural. Y aquí una mayor atención, dentro de mis estudios sobre Argentina, a los procesos regionales y locales, con la intención de abrir un panorama más federal en términos de la indagación de temáticas relacionadas con las provincias y los múltiples itinerarios de los procesos históricos nacionales en relación a las dinámicas macro y micro sociales. Y en cada uno de estos ejes, mi interés también se orientó hacia las cuestiones teóricas y conceptuales provenientes del debate historiográfico, otro hilo conductor permanente en todos mis proyectos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
