Nuestro laboratorio utiliza plantas transgénicas nucleares, vectores virales y plantas transplastómicas para la producción de proteínas de interés farmacológico.En particular durante los últimos años hemos intentado producir hEGF en plantas de tabaco, actualmente hemos iniciado una línea de investigación para la producción de antígenos de rotavirus bovino y virus del papiloma humano, para el desarrollo de vacunas en plantas transplastómicas de tabaco.También estamos desarrollando plantas transgénicas de tabaco y papa con el fin de lograr resistencias a enfermedades virales, bacterianas y fúngicas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
