Durante mi carrera he desarrollado investigación en el área de gastroenterología y en particular en hepatología. Los trabajos se han centrado en metabolismo de fase II (UGT, GST) y en alteraciones del flujo biliar de origen intrahepatocitario. En los últimos años, las líneas de trabajo se han centrado en la identificación de las vías de señalización intracelular involucradas en la desinserción de transportadores ABC (Mrp2 y Bsep) provocada por distintos agentes colestásicos. Los estudios se rea... Durante mi carrera he desarrollado investigación en el área de gastroenterología y en particular en hepatología. Los trabajos se han centrado en metabolismo de fase II (UGT, GST) y en alteraciones del flujo biliar de origen intrahepatocitario. En los últimos años, las líneas de trabajo se han centrado en la identificación de las vías de señalización intracelular involucradas en la desinserción de transportadores ABC (Mrp2 y Bsep) provocada por distintos agentes colestásicos. Los estudios se realizan en ratas, hígados aislados de ratas y hepatocitos aislados y duplas de hepatocitos. Las distintas vías de señalización son identificadas utilizando inhibidores específicos, RNAi y su activación se evaluó por WB de la forma fosforilada.
