Estudio del microambiente tumoral y su rol en la progresión del cáncer. Se evalúa la función de la matriz extracelular, en particular el Ácido Hialurónico (AH) y sus derivados químicamente modificados por sulfatación (AHs), y de células del sistema inmune, en particular los Monocitos/Macrófagos, como moduladores de diferentes mecanismos que pueden favorecer la progresión tumoral, tales como angiogénesis, inmunomodulación, entre otros.
