El desarrollo del Doctorado en Humanidades, con mención en Historia, me ha permitido adquirir elementos teórico-metodológicos orientados hacia la investigación social, con especial énfasis en procesos agrarios, económicos y sociales, vinculados al aprovechamiento del agua como recurso natural y productivo, a la vez que elemento constitutivo de una formación social y política. El eje de mis investigaciones recorre la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y la primera mitad del siglo XX, en donde he prestado atención a una realidad donde los elementos agrarios, económicos, políticos, sociales y culturales se combinan para desarrollar una historia social de los usos del agua *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
