Mis intereses de investigación están enfocados en entender los procesos naturales y antrópicos que modelan la estructura, la diversidad y el funcionamiento de los bosques nativos e implantados. Particularmente me motiva entender cómo los bosques responden a eventos climáticos extremos (por ejemplo, sequía, olas de calor) y de largo plazo. Mis investigaciones están principalmente enfocadas en el uso del imágenes satelitales en combinación con datos campos y modelos estadísticos y de aprendizaje automático.
