Me especializo en Ecofisiología de especies leñosas, con énfasis en distintos aspectos de la arquitectura hidráulica de las plantas. Mis principales intereses de investigación se relacionan con la resistencia de las especies forestales al estrés abiótico en bosques nativos, implantados y urbanos, y cómo el ambiente y el manejo de los mismos puede mejorar su adaptabilidad frente al cambio climático, de manera de optimizar la provisión de servicios a la sociedad.
