A partir de bases provistas por la biología celular, tisular y del desarrollo, se propone el estudio de problemáticas sanitarias dentro del contexto dado por la determinación social de la salud. En este sentido, las variables biológicas se abordan como biomarcadores de susceptibilidad a determinantes y procedimientos técnicos, lo que permite evaluar el impacto de los mismos y diseñar innovaciones tecnológicas y sociales en un tema en particular. Esto, entonces, se aplica en una investigación traslacional destinada a promover la lactancia humana y la salud de la mujer durante el puerperio, mediante diseños observacionales y experimentales incluyendo un análisis multivariante de factores principalmente socioambientales, farmacológicos y nutricionales, sobre aspectos bioquímicos, celulares, tisulares y funcionales. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
