La antigenicidad de los productos biotecnológicos, estandarización y validación de técnicas ELISA, la caracterización molecular de la patogenia de la esclerosis múltiple, neuromielitis optica y la encefalomielitis autoinmune experimental, el estudio molecular de la respuesta a tratamientos como los IFNs tipo I, la Ficocianina y la Ficocianobilina. Metodologias: cultivo de tejidos, obtención de células a partir de sangre periférica, purificación de ARN y RCP, inmunoquímica, y citometría de flu... La antigenicidad de los productos biotecnológicos, estandarización y validación de técnicas ELISA, la caracterización molecular de la patogenia de la esclerosis múltiple, neuromielitis optica y la encefalomielitis autoinmune experimental, el estudio molecular de la respuesta a tratamientos como los IFNs tipo I, la Ficocianina y la Ficocianobilina. Metodologias: cultivo de tejidos, obtención de células a partir de sangre periférica, purificación de ARN y RCP, inmunoquímica, y citometría de flujo. Evaluación de marcadores de estrés oxidativo, células T reguladoras y el estudio de la capacidad antioxidante de moléculas y muestras biológicas. Modelos celulares y animales de patologías del SNC. Diseño, conducción y monitoreo de Ensayos Clínicos.Recientemente, con el estudio de los lípidos y las enzimas que regulan la dinámica de estos en la reacción acrosomal (RA) del espermatozoide, específicamente la S1P. Metodologías: ensayos bioquímicos, funcionales y morfológicos (Microscopía confocal, fluorescencia) y medición de calcio en poblaciones de células.
