Mi desarrollo profesional ha estado centrado en la reconstrucción paleoclimática y tectosedimentaria del cuarto suroccidental de Pangea durante el Mesozoico Inferior. Las principales líneas de investigación son la sedimentología, paleoedafología, tafonomía de vertebrados y plantas y estratigrafía secuencial. Por otro lado, he aplicado metodologías más precisas tales como el análisis de isotopos estables aplicados a restos paleoflorísticos y de paleovertebrados; y análisis geoquímicos de paleosuelos que brindan valores cuantitativos de la composición paleoatmosférica, paleotemperatura y paleorégimen hídrico. Hasta el momento, estos estudios han sido aplicados principalmente en la cuenca de Ischigualasto y Marayes, logrando un estudio integral completo y modelo para ser aplicado en otras cuencas, tales como Mogna y Barreal. De igual modo, en los últimos años he comenzado con el estudio de cuencas cenozoicas continentales aplicando metodologías equivalentes. Asimismo, he realizado algunos estudios sedimentológicos y estratigráficos en cuencas marinas de edad carbonífera. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
