Soy Licenciada y Doctora en Ciencias Geológicas egresada de la UNSJ, actualmente soy Investigadora Asistente de CONICET y poseo un cargo de profesor Titular en la FCEFyN. La temática que desarrollé durante de mi tesis de grado y posgrado fue la reconstrucción de paleoambientes sedimentarios teniendo en cuenta aspectos sedimentológicos y paleoclimáticos (estudio de paleosuelos), estratigrafía secuencial en ambientes continentales y magnetoestratigrafía-paleomagnetismo en rocas triásicas. En los últimos años mi temática de investigación se orientó a la comparación de ambientes sedimentarios continentales antiguos y actuales, estratigrafia cuaternaria y la aplicacion de estos modelos en acuiferos intermontanos. A lo largo de mi formación como investigadora me especialicé en análisis de datos geoespaciales en SIG, técnicas de teledetección utilizando imágenes satelitales, fotogrametría, geomorfología aplicada al ambiente fluvial y petrología sedimentaria.
