Experto en péptidos antimicrobianos producidos por bacterias, llamados bacteriocinas. Hice la tesis con uno de ellos, Microcina J25 y actualmente trabajo en el desarrollo de péptidos antimicrobianos híbridos de amplio espectro. Domino técnicas de biológia molecular, como clonado, electroforesis, análisis para el estudio de proteínas, fluorescencia, dicroismo circular, purificación de proteínas y péptidos y cristalización. Por otro lado he estudiado la interacción de péptidos y proteínas con membranas biológicas, por lo que se preparar liposomas, vesículas unilamelares gigantes y monocapas de fosfolípidos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
