Mi desarrollo profesional se basa en el estudio de materiales (sólidos, superficies, moléculas, etc) utilizando simulaciones basados en la mecánica cuántica denominada cálculos de primeros principios basados en la teoría de la funcional densidad. Esto nos permite estudiar y/o predecir diferentes propiedades de los materiales tales como estructurales, electrónicas, magnéticas, hiperfinas, etc, que se complementan o se corroboran con medidas experimentales.
