Me dedico al estudio de los mecanismos de transporte entre la madre y el feto y su desregulación en patologias como la preeclampsia.Esto implica el manejo de técnicas de biología molecular, estudios biofisicos, inmunohistoquimica, ensayos bioquímicos, etc. Los conocimientos que de esto se desprendan se aplicarán al campo de la medicina básica, y a la comprensión de los mecanismos involucrados en el desarrollo de desordenes gestacionales en donde este implicado un mal funcionamiento placentario.
