Mi área de estudio está relacionada con los efectos y mecanismos fisiológicos, celulares y moleculares producidos por la ingesta materna de alcohol sobre el desarrollo embrio-feto-placentario en mamíferos. Mediante el uso del modelo murino utilizo diferentes estrategias experimentales, metodologías y técnicas, histológicas, histoquímicas, bioquímicas, inmunohistoquímicas, morfométricas y densitométricas, entre otras.
