Mi línea de trabajo se focaliza en estudios genéticos y fisiológicos de especies forrajeras nativas patagónicas para su domesticación. En mi doctorado trabajé con Festuca pallescens, especie clave en los pastizales patagónicos, evaluando la variabilidad genética, filogenia (identificando un ecotipo de F. argentina), la germinación (modelos de tiempo térmico e hídrico) y las respuestas morfo-fisiológicas frente al estrés hídrico. Con una beca post-doctoral, analicé características morfo-fenológicas de la especie en un ensayo multi-ambiente en EEAs (INTA). Articulando con AERs (INTA), logramos muestrear e instalar ensayos a campo. Participé de un convenio UNCo-IFAB (UE INTA-CONICET) que permitió extender la red de ensayos a campo y la evaluación de poblaciones preseleccionadas de la especie. Actualmente, soy Investigadora Asistente en la UNPSJB sede Esquel y trabajo en conjunto con investigadores de CONICET e INTA (IFAB e INTA Esquel) en la línea de domesticación y mejoramiento genético de especies nativas forrajeras patagónicas con fines productivos y de restauración. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
