Mi experticia profesional se estructura sobre la investigación y la vinculación tecnológica. Las producciones han estado asociadas en general, a la región Patagonia y al Mar Argentino. Se ubican dentro de las Ciencias Ambientales y se han enfocado en la biología de la conservación como la contaminación por plásticos, las aves marinas asociadas a las pesquerías comerciales y a la investigación en turismo científico y educación ambiental. Las técnicas que suelo emplear están relacionadas a abordajes socio-ambientales a través de metodologías de tipo mixtas, cualitativas y cuantitativas, como así también la investigación participativa y colaborativa incluyendo a colectivos sociales relacionados. También he dirigido proyectos y recibido financiamientos en iniciativas que relacionan la ciencia con el arte. Empleo a la educación ambiental y al ecoturismo como herramientas de articulación entre la comunidad, la ciencia y las redes productivas fomentando una mayor apertura y vinculación con la sociedad.
