Mi experticia está relacionada con la temática de la inmunología, y en particular en temas referentes a la regulación del sistema inmune, ya sea en forma intrínseca, o en forma extrínseca, es decir la mediada por otros sistemas fisiólogicos como el neuro-endócrino o el metabólico. Estos mecanismos regulatorios y su influencia sobre el sistema inmune son estudiados en el marco de una enfermedad infecciosa como lo es la Enfermedad de Chagas. Para llevar a cabo estos estudios manejo diversas técnicas, como citometría de flujo, westernblot, ELISA, PCR y real time PCR, inmunofluorescencia, inmunohistoquímica, técnicas quirúrgcas en animales de laboratorio, etc. Asimismo, en este último tiempo me he desarrollado en el área de la inmunoterapia y desarrollo de vacunas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
