Mis actividades se desarrollan en el área de la Entomología Aplicada: El estudio y control de especies plagas, especies invasivas (en particular plantas), a través de sus enemigos naturales. Incluye.1- Estudios bioecológicos de las plantas y de los herbívoros (artrópodos y fitopatógenos) para identificar factores genéticos, geográfico-climáticos que expliquen las interaccione de las plantas y de los herbívoros.2-Selección de organismos de biocontroladores,3- Análisis de riesgo del/de los agente/s seleccionado/s tendiente a demostrar la seguridad de su utilización, desarrollando metodologías para la cría en laboratorio y el diseño de pruebas a que se someten los distintos agentes de control, de esa forma evaluar los posibles conflictos con el medio ambiente y las actividades humanas.4- Estimación de su capacidad como organismos de control a través de pruebas de laboratorio y estudios en el campo. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
