Cost and reliability are going to represent major determinants forintroducing new technologies in clinical settings. In this paper, we present thefabrication, testing and validation of cheap and disposable sensors based on acombination of graphene oxide and urease to measure parameters such as pH and urea.The possible application of these sensors for monitoring patients with chronicwounds or undergoing dialysis is discussed.
