The determination of absolute configuration of chiral molecules is a long-standing problem in natural product chemistry. Herein we report the use of VCD spectroscopy and DFT calculations to assing the absolute configuration of six isomeric monoterpene chromane esters isolated from Peperomia obtusifolia (Piperaceae).
