In this lecture I will discuss and think with you about Violence against female bodies which has become an issue of media and social relevance in Argentina, since 2015 with the movement #NiUnaMenos and its mass mobilizations against violence. The event considered by many as the beginning of the massification of the movement is the murder of 14-year-old Chiara Paez at the hands of her boyfriend. The first march led to the establishment of a registry of femicides. As with any process of politicization, massification and intervention, it has led to a discussion that often moves away from more reflective questions and seeks to provide solutions and postulates certain “formulas” on how to deal with such a complex issue as violence in interpersonal relationships. This lecture is a pause for reflecting about violence and love, sometimes from perspectives that are not comfortable for some feminist perspectives. But what is it if not thought?
