Summary

This paper explores and presents some of the ways in which peasant groups that were moved and relocated in surveillance contexts during the last Military Dictator- ship in the southwest of Tucumán Province managed to survive and continue their daily lives. For this, we take as main axis of analysis a testimony obtained from our first approach to the ethnographic field, which is articulated with results of other field work of our own and, together, they reflect a productive dimension of the repressive context, which was primarily controlling and disciplining.
