Our research aims to identify aspects of daily life at the “Patrón Alamito” sites in Campo de Pucará, based on the archaeological features of a domestic unit. Our research aims to identify aspects of daily life at the “Patrón Alamito” sites in Campo de Pucará, based on the archaeological features of a domestic unit. We focus our analysis on spatial organization, architecture, and materiality (objectified based on the spatiality of the material culture and the dwelling) to understand the logic behind the construction of the space and determine what practices, relationships, experiences, and meanings they produced and reproduced. To do this, we excavated two spaces, an enclosure, and a platform at the site H-1, and used a variety of techniques to determine the use and organization of the space. This analysis allows us to propose a vision of social life in Alamito characterized by similarity and equality in various spheres of daily life. Knowledge and practices were shared by the entire group for generations and enacted unconsciously though daily, repetitive, and routine actions. Finally, new dates for the sites allow us to reassess the chronology for the area.
