This article, from a qualitative methodology, describes and analyzes which are the fluctuations of emotional energy, in terms of Randall Collins, in situations of interaction that happen in salsa and bachata classes located in Buenos Aires City (Argentina). The situations of interaction where emotional energy increases are related to the erotic pedagogy that teachers teach to their students; and the interactions in which it decreases are related to the conflicts caused for jealousy and contempt.
