Summary

Part of the developments framed within the field of study of Legal Anthropology, more specifically the Anglo-American current, has produced a set of studies that problematize different ways of conceiving conflict and disputes as constitutive processes of the contemporary world. In dialogue with these debates, this article proposes to recover some theoretical and methodological considerations of these research trajectories, in order to offer some analytical clues for the approach and observation of the tensions and processes of disputes that permeate the social relations plotted within the field of state and bureaucratic administration of children, adolescents and their families. We consider that these processes constitute a key dimension that allows shedding light on the modes of reception and local institutionalization of the so-called Integral Protection System and the rights approach in contexts of institutional transformation and innovation.
