This paper analyses the political trajectory of the Córdoba’s Unión Cívica Radical between 2003 and 2011, marked by an initial national and subnational crisis, which was followed by a relative strengthening and persistence in the local political party system. We explore and describe, during this period, an articulation of diverse elements. First, the partial renovation of its leaders, which implied greater party cohesion and stability. Second, the definition of a traditional political message given to the local electorate, defending ethical and republican values, and a strong opposition to peronism. Third, the turning of the political stage after the conflict between the national administration and rural corporations in 2008. To develop this analysis, we will work on a corpus built upon selected press articles and interviews to party members.Key Words
