This article describes the ways in which, within the Proyecto Arqueológico Barrancas (PAB), we have collaborated to management and valuation of the archaeological cultural heritage of the town of Barrancas (Cochinoca Department, Jujuy). One of its objectives is to present the theoretical-methodological framework from which we understand the management and enhancement of this heritage, such as public archeology and public communication of science. The second objective of this paper is to present the products and activities that the research team carried out to visibilize and value the archaeological heritage of Barrancas. These products are posters, a book, lectures at schools, training for local tourist guides, participatory excavation workshops and advice on the creation and management of the Barrancas Archaeological Interpretation Center. We highlight that this Center, inaugurated in 2020, has established itself as a space for meetings, work and exchange for many social actors, including the PAB. In conclusion, we understand that there is value in socializing our work among participatory environments and in seeking to make the information available to diverse actors. This helped these actors appropriate and redefine our work based on their own interests and feelings of identity.
