Discussions of "ethics" in archaeology have come to name a number of discrete areas of concern. On the one hand, they provide a heading of broadly legal, moral and philosophical concerns that govern or outline disciplinary practice in archaeology. On the other hand, they name the often contested conjunction between disciplinary practices and a set of contemporary social, political and economic contexts and concerns. In naming this conjunction they also frame it, in ways that are both enabling and disenabling of these concerns. Information provided by the agent in SIGEVAKey Words
