Mi tema de interés y de trabajo es la evolución de los carnívoros (Mammalia, Carnivora) de América del Sur, incluyendo aspectos sistemáticos y taxonómicos, filogenéticos, paleoecológicos, morfológicos, ontogenéticos y biogeográficos. También nos interesan temas más amplios de la evolución del Orden Carnivora, así como la de otros grupos de mamíferos, como ser los metaterios extintos del Orden Sparassodonta en América del Sur, que cumplieron el rol de depredadores en las comunidades de vertebrados continentales del pasado. The main interest and subject of my research is the evolution of South American carnivores (Mammalia, Carnivora), including several aspects such as: systematics and taxonomy, phylogeny, paleoecology, morphology, ontogeny and biogeography. Also we are interested in the evolution of the Order Carnivora, as well as other mammalian groups, such as the extinctmetatherian Order Sparassodonta from South America, that were predators in past continental vertebrate communities. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
