Desarrolla investigaciones en arqueología de grupos cazadores-recolectores-pescadores y horticultores a pequeña escala, que habitaron los sistemas de paisajes de humedales del centro oeste de la actual Provincia de Corrientes (Argentina). Realiza diferentes estudios relacionados con las estrategias de subsistencia de dichos grupos, interesada particularmente en aquellos vinculados al campo de la zooarqueología y la bioarqueología. Asimismo, ha desarrollado investigaciones en el campo de la Bioarqueología de poblaciones del Noroeste Argentino y actualmente en otras regiones de Argentina. Ha trabajado en Antropología Forense. Autora de más de 30 trabajos publicados en libros y revistas especializadas, y ha participado en numerosas reuniones científicas nacionales e internacionales. Docente de Titular de Taller de Tesina (Or. Bioantropología), FHumyAr (UNR). Directora del Centro de Estudios Interdisciplinarios en Antropología de la misma Facultad (CEIA). *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
