Mi investigación aborda el análisis de políticas del lenguaje e iniciativas glotopolíticas en América Latina y el Caribe. Pone el foco en las intervenciones en el espacio público del lenguaje, que participan en la reproducción o transformación de las sociedades, y a las ideologías del lenguaje asociadas con ellas, teniendo en cuenta la relación que éstas entablan con requerimientos sociohistóricos (políticos, económicos, laborales, educativos, culturales, científicos, tecnológicos, demográficos...
Mi investigación aborda el análisis de políticas del lenguaje e iniciativas glotopolíticas en América Latina y el Caribe. Pone el foco en las intervenciones en el espacio público del lenguaje, que participan en la reproducción o transformación de las sociedades, y a las ideologías del lenguaje asociadas con ellas, teniendo en cuenta la relación que éstas entablan con requerimientos sociohistóricos (políticos, económicos, laborales, educativos, culturales, científicos, tecnológicos, demográficos) más generales sobre los que, además, dialécticamente actúan.
