S&T Expertise*

Mis intereses de investigación se centran en el estudio de procesos y patrones espaciales en sistemas forestales, con particular énfasis en entender los factores ambientales que influyen sobre la distribución y abundancia espacio-temporal de especies de interés en sistemas bajo uso productivo (por ejemplo especies invasoras, plagas, especies con importancia ecológica). He realizado diversos estudios del impacto de los cambios del uso de la tierra, sobre la fauna nativa (aves, mamíferos, insectos), en la región andino-patagonica. Actualmente me dedico principalmente al estudio de la dinámica espacio-temporal de plagas forestales, y su relación con factores ambientales y/o demográficos. También me encuentro realizando análisis del riesgo de invasión de potenciales plagas para las plantaciones forestales en la región patagónica. Manejo múltiples herramientas de muestreo de fauna y forestal, así como también manejo sistemas de información geográfica, y herramientas de análisis espacio-temporal. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
