Mi interés principal es el estudio de artrópodos fósiles en especial trilobites. Mis investigaciones se orientan fundamentalmente a los estudios sistemáticos y ontogenéticos del grupo para establecer sus relaciones filogenéticas. Sobre esta base y la distribución espacio-temporal de las especies se proponen esquemas bioestratigráficos que permitan establecer una zonación regional. Los aspectos biogeográficos de los trilobites son abordados con especial interés como herramienta fundamental para comprender la compleja historia del margen del Gondwana. Por otra parte, tengo un especial interés por el estudio de los artrópodos no mineralizados del Paleozoico inferior y sus relaciones filogenéticas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
