Especialmente me centré en el estudio de los plantadores de la caña de azúcar, sus demandas, prácticas asociativas y su proyección política. En esa dirección he trabajado sobre la política azucarera argentina, con una proyección hacia la política de partidos entre 1850 y 1960.
