Investigador Independiente en el campo de la biología celular y molecular aplicada a la oncología. Proyectos de investigación vinculados el estudio de los determinantes críticos de la transformación maligna y progresión tumoral en células humanas y murinas derivadas de tumores mamarios y pulmonares. Las principales líneas de trabajo están asociadas a la búsqueda de nuevos compuestos con actividad antitumoral y al estudio de la función de los retinoides ( ATRA) en la progresión maligna. Técnicas aplicadas in vitro: cultivos celulares en 2 y 3 D, ensayos de invasión, migración, capacidad proliferativa, capacidad clonogénica, produccion de células stem tumorales. Técnicas in vivo: inoculación subcutánea, intravenosa, intraperitoneal e intradérmica. Evaluación del crecimiento tumoral y la diseminación metastásica, autopsia y necropsia. Técnicas bioquímicas: inmunohistoquímica, inmunoflorescencia, zimogrtafía, purificación y cuantificación de ácidos nucleicos y proteínas, etc. Técnicas moleculares: Western blot, Northern blot, transfección. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
