Me he especializado en el área de ecología acuática, con énfasis en los sistemas fluviales. Mi área actual de trabajo es la biogeoquímica de arroyos, incluyendo ciclos y procesamiento de nutrientes y materia orgánica y metabolismo fluvial, y el rol funcional de las comunidades de plantas acuáticas.
