Doctor en Ciencias Biológicas. Durante mi doctorado realicé estudios sobre las vías de degradación de plaguicidas clorados por actinobacterias. Estudios sobre la resistencia a metales pesados en actinobacterias. Durante mi posdoctorado, estudie la utilización de fuentes de carbono alternativas para la producción de lípidos aptos para la generación de biodiesel por levaduras oleaginosas. Aislamientos e identificación de agentes biocontrol de frutas en postcosecha, estudios de microbiomas en frutos con interés económicos regionales. Producción de biopolimeros y estudios de biofilms bacterianos.
