Durante mi formación profesional me interesó conocer la genética que regula el proceso de ovogénesis y subsecuente desarrollo embrionario de insectos. Para abordar tal objetivo se emplean diversas herramientas,las cuales abarcan desde el manejo, análisis e interpetación de datos de secuenciación masiva hasta técnicas moleculares, como por ejemplo: in situ, ARN interferente, qPCR, clonado; así como también manejo y mantenimiento de bioterio.
