A lo largo de mi desarrollo profesional he trabajado en la biología celular y molecular del parásito Trypanosoma cruzi, agente causal de la enfermedad de Chagas. Mi proyecto actual se centra en el área de la inmunología y la interacción parásito-hospedador mediante vesículas extracelulares (EVs). Algunas de las herramientas en las cuales tengo experiencia son: biología molecular (clonado, mutagénesis dirigida, sistema Gateway, etc.), expresión de proteínas recombinantes y obtención de anticuerp... A lo largo de mi desarrollo profesional he trabajado en la biología celular y molecular del parásito Trypanosoma cruzi, agente causal de la enfermedad de Chagas. Mi proyecto actual se centra en el área de la inmunología y la interacción parásito-hospedador mediante vesículas extracelulares (EVs). Algunas de las herramientas en las cuales tengo experiencia son: biología molecular (clonado, mutagénesis dirigida, sistema Gateway, etc.), expresión de proteínas recombinantes y obtención de anticuerpos policlonales, cultivo de líneas celulares y parásitos, citometría de flujo y trabajo con animales de laboratorio, entre otras. Asimismo, mantengo un rol activo integrando proyectos que evalúan i) estrategias de inmunización basadas en vesículas bacterianas como carriers de antígenos parasitarios y ii) aspectos inmunológicos en pacientes sero-positivos.
